Announcing the world of True North

Dear Friends

I am so excited to share my plans for a multi-author series. The World of True North will publish its first titles in early 2021.

True North is series of USA Today bestselling romance novels, spanning 7 titles with an 8th one coming in 2021. The books have been translated into Spanish, French, German & Hungarian, with more languages on the way.

Set among the apple orchards and breweries of Vermont, this contemporary series is sometimes warm and sometimes gritty. But it’s also a place where happily-ever-afters grow on trees.

Each new world will center around familiar True North venues, but will (usually) focus on brand new characters. Scroll down for more information.

As always, thanks for reading!

Sarina Bowen’s Vermont is always a little bit like coming home. Everything feels familiar, cozy, warm.

Welcome to the Speakeasy Tap Room, perched on the river bank in Colebury, Vermont. Located in a restored brick mill building, this new venture is the brain child of familiar True North characters Alec Rossi, Griff Shipley and Lyle Harper.

Authors Announced: Karen Stivali and more!

Bowen has created a pretty fantastic world in small-town Vermont, and I can’t imagine who wouldn’t enjoy a virtual trip there.

The Busy Bean is the coffee shop and bakery two doors down from the Speakeasy. Owned by Audrey Shipley and Zara Rossi — who both have small children at home — it requires a host of quirky Vermonters to help run the place.

The cafe is furnished with mismatched furniture and oddball wisdom chalked onto the walls. Such as: “Unattended children will be give an double espresso and a special-needs chihuahua.”

AUTHORS ANNOUNCED: Sarah Mayberry, LB Dunbar, and more!

Bowen’s Vermont is real and gloriously imperfect — beautiful but sometimes desolate, a place where people nurture a deep sense of neighborliness and community while simultaneously experiencing profound personal loneliness…

In Heartland, the latest True North book, the youngest Shipley family members attend the fictional Burlington University, otherwise known as Moo U. Home of cider pong, flannel shirts, cold winters and a terrific hockey team, Moo U has a lot of potential!

AUTHORS ANNOUNCED: Victoria Denault and more!

I seriously adore the setting for True North.

The Gay Wine Bar & Bookstore

Vermont needs a gay wine bar badly. And ours will have a bookstore, too. Opening a business is a risky venture, but someone has to sniff all the new books and flirt with the hot bartenders.

AUTHORS ANNOUNCED: Annabeth Albert, Garrett Leigh and more!
